Graffiti Vandals

Like many residents of the Sunset, I am tired of the graffiti that appears on property around our neighborhood. It damages our property, costs the city money and adds blight to our neighborhoods.

As your Supervisor, I will introduce legislation to shake up parents and guardians who are in denial about their children’s actions, unaware of them or simply don’t care.

We need restorative justice. And, as part of this program I will wake up these graffiti vandals and their parents by allowing authorities to make these “taggers paint our graffiti in addition to making their parents or guardians liable for civil damages as part of a broader strategy against blight in our neighborhoods.
